UACatsDivision launches the sale of the first Ukrainian collection based on NFT technology. It is planned to raise UAH 40 million to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On February 22, 2023, the UACatsDivision project launches the sale of the first Ukrainian collection based on NFT technology. The creation and sale is supported by the UNITED24 platform and Incrypted magazine. The unique collection consists of 10,000 images of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cats. Each furry hero represents the invincibility and independence of the Ukrainian people.

After generating an image, paying a fee, and purchasing an NFT token, the cat ends up in the owner’s crypto wallet. It is positioned as a collectible, investment, or social media avatar.

The first army of marine drones is currently being built. Therefore, the key mission of the project is to attract the attention of the crypto community and raise UAH 40 million to buy four combat vehicles that will help protect against Russian missiles.

“Together, the Ukrainian people are working to create a technological history,” says Mykhailo Fedorov, head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

The project team predicts that the first Ukrainian NFT cats will sell out soon. The charity initiative may attract the attention of beginners who are just looking at non-fungible tokens.

For reference:
An NFT is a non-fungible cryptographic token stored on a blockchain that is unique, limited in number, and authentic.
